About Ankang University
Ankang University (hereinafter known as AKU) is a public university administered by Shaanxi Provincial Government, China. AKU is located in Ankang City, in southern Shaanxi Province, among the Qinling-Bashan Mountains, lying on the shore of Hanjiang River, adjacent to Hubei Province, Chongqing municipality and Sichuan Province. Ankang city is the geometric center of the Central Shaanxi province, Chengdu-Chongqing and Jianghan Economic Zones. The city boasts an extraordinary ecological and geographical environment with pleasant climate, rich natural resources, beautiful landscape and convenient transportation, which together make the city an ideal place to live and work.

Requirements for Applicants
Applicants with doctorate degrees in relevant disciplines or specialties are invited for all the vacancies shown in the above chart. Also, as a successful applicant:
1.You are expected to fit the needs of personnel cultivation and academic specialty development of AKU;
2.Your age needs to be under 40 (Outstanding applicants: under 45);
3.You are expected to possess high-quality academic achievements with great potential.
Preference will be given to applicants with post-doctoral research experience or the academic titles like professor/associate professor.

Chart 1: Employment Types and Working Treatment

*Salary:
1)Basic Salary: According to the standard wage of staff of public institutions of Shaanxi Province, China;
2)Performance-related pay: RMB ¥70,000-120,000
*Setting-in Allowance (according to the classification of applicants- Chart 2):
RMB ¥250,000-1,000,000
*Research Start-up Allowance (according to the classification of applicants- Chart 2):
RMB ¥100,000-150,000 (PhD of Natural Science)
RMB ¥50,000-100,000 ( PhD of Humanities and Social Science)
*According to the classification, applicants of different category can apply for academic titles respectively (special-term professor, special-term associate professor, or receive associate professor’s salary at the first three years working in AKU).
*Allowance for stuff with doctoral degrees:
RMB ¥600 per month;
*Housing Subsidy: RMB ¥76,800(annual installment payment for 8 years; ¥9,600 per year );
*Independent office equipped with computer;
*Join AKU as a permanent staff of public institutions of China (differ from contract employees );
*Your spouse can be offered opportunities of employment;
*Help to arrange children’s entrance to kindergarten or school. |

RMB ¥40,000-60,000(open to negotiation.)
2) Performance-related pay:
RMB ¥70,000-120,000

RMB ¥130,000-500,000
*Research Start-up Allowance (according to the classification of applicants- Chart 2):
RMB ¥100,000-150,000 (PhD of Natural Science)
RMB ¥50,000-100,000 ( PhD of Humanities and Social Science)
*Allowance for stuff with doctoral degrees:
RMB ¥600 per month;
*Housing Subsidy: RMB ¥38,400(annual installment payment for 4 years; ¥9,600/per year );
*Independent office equipped with computer;
*Your spouse can be offered opportunities of employment;
*Help to arrange children’s entrance to kindergarten or school.
*Social Insurance and other benefits:
1)Social insurance and housing fund will be paid in monetary term;
2) Enjoy same extra allowance during the hot or cold weather and festival welfare as our current employees.

Chart 2: Classifications of Applicants

Category A |
|
Applicants for Category A should meet Article 1 and Article 2 or Article 3:
1) be selected to join “Thousand People Plan"-Youth Talents Program of Shaanxi Province; or provincial talents program approved by governments of other provinces;
2) for doctors of Natural Science: be an independent author (or first author) of at least 2 papers published in journals indexed in SCI Zone 1 (in your own professions).
3) for doctors of Humanities and Social Science: be an independent author or first author of at least 3 papers published in SSCI Non-Open Access Journals (in your own professions), and 5 papers published in CSSCI/CSCD (core library) journals (in your own professions). |

1)Setting-in Allowance: ¥1,000,000 (installment payment):
1st year: ¥400,000
2nd year: ¥300,000
3rd year: ¥300,000
2)Research Start-up Allowance:

1) Holding the doctorate in the disciplines of Nursing and Rehabilitation Medicine;
2) for doctors of Natural Science: be the first author of at least 2 papers published in journals indexed in SCI Zone 2 (in your own professions), and 4 papers published in CSSCI/CSCD (core library) journals (in your own professions).
3) for doctors of Humanities and Social Science: be the first author of at least 2 papers published in SSCI journals (in your own professions), and 3 papers published in CSSCI/CSCD (core library) journals (in your own professions). |
Main Benefits & Allowance:
1)Setting-in Allowance: ¥600,000 (installment payment):
1st year: ¥200,000
2nd year: ¥200,000
3rd year: ¥200,000
2)Research Start-up Allowance:

2)for doctors of Natural Science: be the first author of at least 1 paper published in journals indexed in SCI Zone 2 (in your own professions), or 6 papers published in CSSCI/CSCD (core library) journals (in your own professions).
3)for doctors of Humanities and Social Science: be the first author of at least 1 paper published in SSCI journals (in your own professions), or 4 papers published in CSSCI/CSCD (core library) journals (in your own professions). |
